Security: Open Source is a one-day, single track workshop focused on the growing set of security software released under an open source license.
These tools are valuable not only for their intended functions, but also because they allow others to validate their methods and build on their work, pushing the field forward as a whole.
At SOS, authors will discuss their software and explore how it's been used to solve real problems. The workshop will also feature panels on topics of interest to the community, such as building an audience for your software and managing contributions.
SOS is organized by Prof. Brendan Dolan-Gavitt at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
